My passion is to provide hope, healing, and empowerment to others. I want to help you find hope in your story, rebuild the brokenness and move towards wholeness. Many times people come to counseling because they feel as though they are in a place where they are stuck, feel desperation, and are struggling. I want to come alongside you to provide hope, healing, support and empowerment. I believe in the power of hope and healing and want to share it.
Over the past twelve years, I have been in the mental health field and serving the community in many capacities for over 25 years. I graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in 2004 with a Masters in Multicultural Ministries and Hispanic Studies. In 2009 I went back to graduate school at Grand Canyon University and graduated in 2011 with a double Masters in Professional Counseling and Addictions Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Independent Substance Use Counselor (LISAC) as well as an Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Approved Clinical Supervisor. My scope of practice includes therapy for adolescents and adults and I have worked extensively with the adolescents and young adults. Culture, faith, and spiritual beliefs are important parts of who we are as people and integrate this into my practice. I am in an intercultural marriage and we have three beautiful children who are bilingual. I am also bilingual in English and Spanish and am LGBTQIA+ affirmative, and hold a social justice perspective. Perinatal, pregnancy, post partum, and parenting are other areas in the focus of my practice.
